BLACKFOOT—Graveside services for Jesse Elmer Ladd, 84, were conducted today at 11 a. m. in the Goshen Cemetery of Bingham County by LDS Bishop Darrell Cook.

He died in a Rigby nursing home Sept. 19, one day after he was transferred from a Moreland nursing home where he had been for seven years. He was born in Winterset, Iowa, to William and Mary Lowe Ladd. He came to Idaho in 1924 and settled on a small tract of land in the Goshen area to raise chickens.

A niece in Shelley, Mrs. Nannie Le Chominant, believes he had been married twice and that a daughter, Dolly Yount, address unknown, survives, and a stepdaughter Mrs. Opal Ensling, Neosho, Mo.; also a sister, Mrs. Jennie Yates of Wichita, Kan.

The Howard Packham Mortuary of Blackfoot directed burial arrangements.
