Mrs. Lee Funeral Saturday, 2 P.M.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ella J. Lee, 87, are to be held at the Baptist church in Scio at 2 p. m. Saturday, the Rev. V. L. Loucks to officiate. The Howe mortuary of Lebanon will have charge.

Mrs. Lee died at the farm home near Scio Wednesday afternoon. She was born in Iowa but had lived in the Scio community 41 years. Her husband, W. T. Lee, preceded her in death last March. Mrs. Lee was a member of the Christian church.

Survivors include two daughter, and five sons: Mrs. E. L. Bilyeu, Scio, and Mrs. C. A. Lucas, Philomath; Darl Lee, Vancouver, Wash.; Ray Lee, Alderwood Manor, Wash.; Hugh Lee, Alberta, Canada; John Lee, Lebanon; and L. G. Lee, coastguardsman, stationed at Tongue Point, Ore. All are expected to attend the rites except the son in Canada. Mrs. C. H. Lyon, of Seattle, Wash. is a sister of the deceased.

Mrs. Ella J. Lee

Lebanon--Ella J. Lee died at her home near Scio Wednesday. She was the widow of the late William Thomas Lee, who died Mar. 13, 1943.

Born in St. Charles, Iowa, May 10, 1865, and was married to Mr. Lee Aug. 30, 1881, there. They came to Oregon 41 years ago. Member of the Church of Christ at Scio.

Surviving are five sons, Earl of Vancouver, Wash., Ray of Washington, Hugh of Alberta, Can., John of Lebanon, L. G. Lee of the coast guard near Astoria; daughters, Mrs. E. L. Bilyeu of Scio and Mrs. C A. Lucas of Tillamook; sister, Mrs. C. H. Lyon of Seattle; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. at the Scio Baptist church. Rev. Vic Loucks officiating. Interment will be made in the Miller cemetery at Shelburn.
