Dolores Lamb, 79, of Greeley, CO died, Saturday, March 27, 2010 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born July 17, 1930 in Madison County, Iowa to Cecil and Dorothy (Bennington) Phillips. She grew up in Iowa and later in life fell in love with Richard Lamb. On August 11, 1951 she married Richard at Disciples of Christ Church in Winterset Iowa. Richard and Dolores shared in the love of two children David and Dennis.
Dolores was a very avid reader and enjoyed several books. Dolores was very passionate about spending time with her family and will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Dolores is survived by her husband of 58 years Richard; her two sons Dennis (Michelle) of Littleton, CO and David (Nancy) of Berthoud, CO; her sister, Faye Simmons; grandchildren Jim Lamb of Atlanta, GA, Lindsay Lamb of Denver, CO, Madeline Lamb and Emily Lamb both of Littleton.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Adamson Memorial Chapel, 2000 47th Avenue in Greeley. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
