Beverly Jean Edwards

Beverly Jean Edwards, daughter of Leo N. Tangeman and Ethel M. (Helvie) Tangeman was born August 21, 1930 in Hull, Iowa and passed from this life Saturday, January 19, 2018 at eighty-eight years of age.

Bev attended grade school and graduated high school in Akron, Iowa. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from Nebraska Methodist Hospital. Bev was united in marriage to Charles David "Chuck" Edwards on November 29, 1952 at Fontanelle, Iowa and two daughters, Debra and Cheri, blessed this union.

Bev and Chuck raised their family in Fontanelle, Winterset, and Greenfield before moving to Osceola in 1961. Bev was the elementary school nurse for Clarke Community Schools for 26 years, retiring in 1992.

Bev was a member of the Osceola United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Woman, T.T.T. Chapter FL; Clarke County Public Health Board; Charter member of the Osceola Eagles Auxiliary; on the Careview Committee of Osceola Leisure Manor; member of the Clarke County Hospital Auxiliary; and a member of the Retired School Personnel.

Those relatives who preceded Bev in death were her husband, Chuck Edwards, parents, Ethel and Leo Tangeman, and infant boy & girl twins and son-in-law, Ron Brennan.

Beverly leaves to cherish her memory; daughter, Debra (Roger) McCloney of Norwalk, IA, daughter, Cheri (Lonnie) Shannon of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, David (Alison) McCloney of Norwalk, IA, Elizabeth Martinez of Norwalk, IA, Cheryl (John) Reeves of Norwalk, IA, Justin (Laurie) Brennan of Marietta, GA, Jake (fiance' Karen) Brennan of Normal, IL, Joe (Ashley) Brennan of Phoenix, AZ: great grandchildren, Emily Davis, Morgan Davis, Andrew McCloney, Sebastian Reeves, Lydia Reeves, Lizzi Reeves, Kinsley Brennan, Colby Brennan , Hadley Brennan, Wyatt Brennan and Anabelle Brennan; step great-grandchildren, Blythe Campbell and Reed Campbell; as well as other relatives and many friends.
