KINGERY – George Wright, 80, of 2571 Guthrie Ave. died Saturday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

WRIGHT KINGERY

Wright Kingery, 80, of Valley View Village, 2571 Guthrie Ave., died of a stroke Saturday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Dahlstrom Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Winterset Cemetery.

Mr. Kingery was born in Earlham and lived in Des Moines for 20 years. He was a retired custodian for the Union Park Methodist Church and earlier farmed in rural Winterset. He was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church.

Survivors include two sons, Herbert of Des Moines and Wayne of Indianola; one daughter, Alice Jacobe of West Milton, Ohio; two stepsons Dale Carey of Eldridge and Eugene Carey of South Windsor, Conn.; a sister, Lennie Mills of Winterset; 21 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
