LEWISTOWN—Mable E. Morse, 90, died in Central Montana Nursing Home Tuesday.
She was born in Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Jennie McCorkle. She graduated from Iowa Normal College for Teachers, taught school in Iowa for several years and moved to Lewistown in 1916. After her marriage to Harry P. Morse they ranched on his homestead south of Denton. The moved into Lewistown in 1955. Mr. Morse died in 1968.
Survivors include three sons, George of Danvers, Edward of Denton and Harry of Reno, Nev.; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Clow of Colfax, Wash., Mrs. Ruth Randall of Mountain View, Calif. and Mable Morse of Cheyenne, Wyo.; three sisters, Mrs. Janet Lary of Kelso, Wash., Mrs. Edna Landes of Missouri and Mrs. Nina Crumby of Pueblo, Colo.; and 15 grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Zion Lutheran Church in Lewistown. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
