MALTA—Funeral services were held at the Bell chapel this afternoon for True W. St. John, 50, Members of Phillips county post, American Legion, conducted military rites at the graveside.
St. John had been a resident of Malta seven years. He was engaged in the barbering business until his illness. Born at Lorimer, Ia., Oct. 23, 1894, he served in World war 1 and was married Jan. 10, 1923, to Lorese Beverlin at Winterset, Ia. He was a member of the American Legion and the V. F. W.
His widow and three daughters, Eloise and Mrs. Rosalie Porter of Malta, and Elaine, a cadet nurse in training at Great Falls, survive.
