DEATH TAKES MISS KINNEY

Dies Wednesday Night At Home Following Heart Attack

Nelle E. Kinney, 630 Walnut street died at her home late Wednesday night following a heart attack. She was 61 years old.

Miss Kinney was born in Winterset August 28, 1881, the daughter of Frank S. and Orinda Allen Kinney. Her family came to Iowa City when she was 8 years old and with the exception of seven years residence in Waterloo, Miss Kinney made Iowa City her home.

She has been active in the Legion auxiliary and the Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary activities.

Surviving are three brothers, Ralph and Frank of Iowa City and Fred of Cedar Rapids; three nieces and three nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Beckman’s at a time which will be announced. Dr. L. L. Dunnington of the Methodist church will be in charge. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
