Phil McCrea, St. Charles, Iowa

Philip McCrea passed away at age 100 on August 31st at Good Samaritan in Indianola, where he had been a resident since 2016. He spent 95 years of his life on the farm where he was born on July 4, 1918 near St. Charles. Philip is survived by his daughters, Marcia, and Jeanne (Randy) and sons William (Mary Jane) and James (Yvonne) He was also blessed with and survived by four grandsons and five granddaughters, 2 nieces and a nephew.

Visitation will be held at Peterson's Funeral Home in Indianola on Tuesday, September 4th at 9:00 am with the funeral service at 10:00 am. Interment will be held directly after the service at the St. Charles Cemetery and a reception to follow.
