FORT DODGE — Blanche R. King, 97, died Jan. 26, 1987, at Fort Dodge Hospital. Born Blanche R. Travis Jan. 1, 1890, in Madison County, Iowa, she married Walter W. King Oct. 9, 1907, at Cimarron. He died Jan. 7, 1961. She was a resident of the Dodge City, Cimarron and Ensign area since 1907.
She was a member of Dellrose United Methodist Church, Wichita.
Survivors: son, Wayne, Bullhead City, Ariz.; daughters, Carolyn Bugg, Wichita, Mary Esther Culbreath, LaVeta, Colo., Doris Richardson, Hemet, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ensign United Methodist Church, the Rev. James Swank. Burial will be in Ensign Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City.

ENSIGN — Funeral for Blanche R. King, 97, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ensign United Methodist Church, the Rev. James Swank officiating. Burial will be at Ensign Cemetery.
She died Monday at Fort Dodge Hospital, Fort Dodge.
Born Blanche R. Travis Jan. 1, 1890, in Madison County, Iowa, she married Walter W. King Oct. 9, 1907, at Cimarron. He died Jan. 7, 1961.
Mrs. King was a resident of the Dodge City, Cimarron and Ensign area since 1907 and was a member of the Dellrose United Methodist Church, Wichita.
