REDFIELD—A funeral for Mabel Aldrich, 86, of Redfield was held Dec. 1, 1988 at Hilltop Chapel at Redfield. Mrs. Aldrich died of cancer on Nov. 27 at her son’s home in rural Redfield. Burial was in the Wiscotta Cemetery near Redfield.

The daughter of Marion and Harriet Ann Addy, she was born in Madison County on Nov. 22, 1902. She had lived in Dallas County for 66 years, and lived in Madison County prior to that. She was a homemaker, and a member of Hilltop Chapel at Redfield, Iowa Farm Bureau and Ladies Missionary Society.

Survivors include a daughter, Goldie Blair of Redfield; six sons Marion Dennis of Redfield, Stewart Aldrich of Waukee, Glenn Aldrich of Des Moines, Wayne Aldrich of Adel, Marlyn Aldrich of Johnston and Vernon Aldrich of Dallas Center; a sister, Blanche Clausen of Earlham; 31 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hilltop Chapel.
