Services for Nevin T. Cason, sr., 65, of 1505 Richmond ave., will be at 1:30 p. m. Tuesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, with burial at Masonic Cemetery. Mr. Cason was dead of a heart attack Friday on arrival at Broadlawns Polk County Hospital.
A clerk at the main U. S. Post Office here, Mr. Cason was a Des Moines resident 60 years and attended East High School. He was born in Bevington. He was a member of Pioneer Lodge No. 22, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, the U. S. Government Employes Association, the Scottish Rite and Hapac-Grotto.
Surviving are his wife, E. Bernice; two sons, Nevin T., jr., of Des Moines and William Joseph of Long Beach, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Wong of West Covina, Calif.; as sister, Mrs. Opal McClurkin of Donna, Tex.; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
