OPAL MCCLURKIN

Services for Opal McClurkin, 78, of 700 E. Fifth St., who died Sunday at home of a heart ailment, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.

Miss McClurkin was born in Bevington and lived in Des Moines for 40 years. She was a retired cosmetology instructor and a member of Eastgate chapter Order of Eastern Star.

There are no immediate survivors.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
