Memorial services for Mrs. Ruth N. Wilson were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the United Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert Spears, pastor of the church, was the officiating clergyman. Mrs. Bruce Davidson, organist; played several sacred selections.
Active Pallbearers were Lynn Bevington, Mac Bevington, Ray Hosford, Burno Marchi, Dick Murphy, and Wayne Young. Honorary escorts were Al Ryntee, Ed Lowry, Everett Lowry, Ray Drain, Vern Loudenburg and Charles G. Cowan. The concluding service of the church was held at the graveside in Fairview Cemetery.
Born in Madison County, Iowa, May 20, 1896, she and Earle E. Wilson were married July 3, 1916 in Omaha, Neb. They moved to a cattle ranch at Villa Grove on March 1, 1918, which they operated until moving to Salida Nov. 8, 1943. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Salida, and Minnehaha Chapter 48 Order of the Eastern Star in Saguache.
Survivors other than her husband are two sisters, Mrs. Merle Brown, Saskatchawan, Canada; Mrs. Lloyd Hanon, Atlantic, Iowa; and Mesa, Ariz., a brother Carl Givan, Macksburg, Iowa; a number of nieces and nephews, three of whom are Elmo and Mac Bevington, Salida; and George Bevington, Harlingen, Texas.
