Winterset—Richard Lee Bales, 57, passed away July 28, 2018 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be cremated and no services are planned.

He is survived by his son, Geoffrey; granddaughter, Ava; parents, Ronald and Joyce Bales; siblings Ron (Julia), Roger (Lisa), and LuAnn (Tim) Sailors.

We are grateful to the Greenfield Hospice caregivers for their excellent care.
