Succumbs at Home of Her Daughter on East Jefferson Street.
Mrs. Elizabeth J. Cunningham, 87 years old, died Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. W. McReynolds, 1228 East Jefferson Street, of a complication of diseases incident to old age.
The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock at the Prairieville church and burial will follow in the Prairieville cemetery.
Mrs. Cunningham was a life-long member of the Christian church, and was a woman of sterling religious and domestic values.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. S. W. McReynolds of this city and Mrs. Alpheas Orr of Kempton, and one son, Alvie H. Cunningham of Winchester, Ind.
The deceased was the widow of John C. Cunningham. She was born in Virginia, January 19, 1833, and when three years of age her parents moved to Putnam County. She had been a resident of Tipton and Howard counties since 1873.
