The body of David Beetle, 34, was found in the pond owned by Wendell Nichols Sunday evening by Robert Kuhns and son, Richard of St. Charles, who were fishing. Graveside services were held Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Wallace Cemetery at Wick.

Graveside services were held July 7 at Wallace Cemetery, Wick, Iowa for David Beedle who died July 2 as a result of drowning. Pastor Bob Boudewyns of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Martensdale was in charge of the service.
David was born August 26, 1953 at the home of his parents, Duane and Katherine (Rhoades) Beedle.
He attended Martensdale-St. Marys High School where he graduated in 1972.
He worked for some time at Monarch Cement Co., in Des Moines.
Survivors include his mother, Katherine; a daughter, Amy Beedle of Indianola; and a sister, Kathy Kay Harlean of Indianola.
He was preceded in death by his father, Duane.
