Caskey was Pastor Emeritus of the Church of the Brethren, Council Bluffs, Ia. Survivors include 3 sons, Herman of Omaha, Ivan of Ava, Mo., and Paul of De Land, Fla.; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Services Thursday 11 a.m. Cutler Chapel. Interment Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Friends were very saddened when the word came Tuesday that our good friend and former pastor of Salem, Rev. Homer Caskey, had passed away at his home in Council Bluffs. Funeral services were held Thursday.
Salem extends deepest sympathy to the family. Especially to Mrs. Dora Caskey, his sister-in-law, who lives in Lenox. He is survived by two sons and several grandchildren, all living away from here.
________________________Coordinator's note: The deceased was born in Madison County in 1882 per his Iowa Delayed Certificate of Birth which also provided his middle name.
