Maude Tuttle Dies Sunday

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 31 for Maude H. Tuttle, who died at Murray, Iowa Sunday, December 27. Rev. James Epperson officiated at the 2:00 p.m. service held at the Murray Church of Christ in Murray, Iowa.

Maude H. Tuttle, 81, was born in Madison County, Iowa September 30, 1889, the daughter of Milton and Lula Ives Loy. She was married to Henry Tuttle in Lorimor, Iowa January 17, 1912. They were the parents of two children. She was a housewife and a retired nurses aide of 15 years. She had resided the past 12 years in Murray and was affiliated with the Murray Church of Christ.

Surviving relatives are a daughter, Nondace Dick and husband, Gaylord of Murray; son Carl and wife, Marjorie of Des Moines. Also four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers: Carl and Glen of Winterset; Guy of Des Moines; four sisters: Mrs. Grace Yount of Thayer; Mrs. Blanche Johnson of Lorimor; Mrs. Bess Frank of Winterset and Mrs. Mildred Means of Lorimor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, Claude and Ted Loy.

Interment was in Murray Cemetery, Murray, Iowa.
