Mrs. Diza Ellen Wilburg, 338 Pool St., born in Truro, Iowa Aug. 12, 1887, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 1968 in a local hospital at the age of 81 years.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. with Rev. Ed Rush officiating. The remains will be sent to Des Moines, Iowa, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 3 p.m. from the Hamilton Lilly Funeral Home in that city, with interment in Glendale Cemetery.
Survivors: Daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Mabelle) Cates; son, Ralph E. Chapman, both of San Antonio; brothers, W. F. Devine, Des Moines, Iowa, O. B. Devine, La Puente, Calif., Aubrey Devine, Sun City, Ariz., John Devine, Truro, Iowa, Glenn Devine, Iowa City, Iowa; grandchildren, Mrs. J. R. Williams, Mrs. H. H. Pierce, Richard DeCamp, Lloyd F., Fred G., Ralph E. Chapman Jr., Mrs. Rutt Odiorne; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Wilburg was a member of Rector Memorial United Methodist Church and has lived in San Antonio for the past 15 years.
Services under the direction of The Cude Family, Alamo Funeral Home.
