Mr. and Mrs. Dave Smith were summoned last week, to the funeral of Mr. Smith’s father, Ira Smith, of Madison county. He died of paralysis, January 5th at the home of his daughter. He was seventy-nine years and eleven months old. Rev. Tillotson preached the funeral sermon, Mr. Smith having been a consistent member of the M.P. church for many years.
