Elmer E. Brown Killed in Accident

This community was shocked about 1 o’clock Friday afternoon to hear of the death of Elmer E. Brown, who was killed on the Maffett corner south of Murray. Elmer was driving north, crossing the highway when a milling company truck of Omaha going east struck the rear of the car. He was thrown to the pavement and met instantaneous death. His car was completely demolished. The truck upset in a ditch north of the highway. The driver of the truck, a Mr. Bell of Omaha rendered all possible aid. He was not held.

The sympathy of this community is extended to Mrs. Brown in this hour of greatest sorrow.
