Iowa Falls—(Special)—Funeral services for Walter H. Mobley, 46, who died at a Des Moines hospital Wednesday, will be held at the Wood funeral chapel Friday afternoon with the Rev. Harold Dorrance, pastor of the Church of the Open Bible, officiating.
He was born Dec. 13, 1898, in Madison county, a son of Rilda and Hezekiah Mobley; the family lived in Guthrie county for some time, and for the past 12 years Mr. Mobley had farmed in Buckeye township.
In 1916 he married Hazel Johnson; and in 1933 he married Gleneva Staley at Eldora. Survivors include his widow, seven sons, Cpl. George Mobley, stationed in England; Willard of Des Moines; Richard, Ralph, Roy, Raymond and Robert, all at home; three daughters, Mrs. Harold Pieper, Jean, and Marjorie, all of Des Moines, and three grandchildren.
