Page 12, Columns 4 & 5Ethel Beulah Palmer, daughter of James and Amelia Young Osborn was born December 23, 1889 in Madison county, Iowa and departed this life September 30, 1968 at the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines at the age of 78 years, 9 months and 7 days. She received her education in Madison county.
She was united in marriage to Robert LeRoy Palmer, November, 1907. Three children were born to this union. One son Elwood Palmer and 2 daughters, Mrs. Georgie Bryant and Mrs. Hazel Fouche.
She leaves to mourn her three children, one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Elwood Palmer, one son-in-law, Chester Fouche, 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, 8 brothers and two sisters. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 2, from Webster Funeral Home in Osceola with Rev. John W. McCallum officiating by the 2 p.m. rites. Burial was in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
