Ira Parker, father of Mrs. Albert Allen, died at his home north of Des Moines Thursday. The body will be brought to Peru Saturday for interment at Elm Grove cemetery.

Death of Ira Parker

Ira Parker, who was taken to Clarinda to the Asylum two weeks ago Tuesday, died last Thursday at that institution and his body taken to Peru Saturday for burial. His wife, Mrs Hettie Parker, and Earl Leverich attended the funeral.

Mr. Parker was a veteran of the civil war, and his home was in Madison County for many years.
