Olive Anna Linn, daughter of Henry and Cassander Linn, was born in Knox County, Illinois, February 12, 1866. At the age of two she moved with her parents to Madison County where she lived until the time of her marriage. On December 2, 1886, she was married to George E. Sellers and they made their home in Adair County, south of Stuart. Twenty five years ago they moved to Stuart and have lived here since that time. Three children were born to them: Mrs. Alice Tyson, of Stuart; Roy Sellers, of Des Moines, and Mrs. Elsie Volz, of Des Moines.

Mrs. Sellers was for many years a singer in the choir at both the Stuart Methodist church and the Mt. Vernon Methodist church. She also served the Stuart Methodist church as organist for years, thus sharing with others her musical talent. She was a woman who was outstanding as a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was a lover of flowers and made her home surroundings beautiful with them. Although she had an illness which lasted for three years, she was known as patient and uncomplaining by her family, her neighbors and her friends. She passed away at the Dexter Clinic on Monday morning.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband and her children, seven grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. One sister and two brothers also survive: Mrs. Alice Brooks, of Waterloo; Frank Linn of Menlo, and George Linn of Webster City; also a number of niece and nephews. She will also be greatly missed by her neighbors and many friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Methodist church conducted by the pastor, Rev. Russell Hanson. The casket bearers were Bert Tyson, Edgar Griffin, Calvin Potter, Clyde Pote, Frank Eckardt and Clarence Jones.

Interment was in South Oak Grove cemetery.

Relatives from a distance present at the funeral were: Mrs. Edward Binkley, Mrs. Frank Smith and Mrs. John Linn, of Omaha, Nebraska; Mrs. Roy Leeper of Des Moines; Mrs. Stella Wetrich of Dexter; Mr. and Mrs. Merton Cline and Mrs. Gerald Mullins of Winterset; Mrs. Warren Sheriff of Orient.
