Doris See, age 97, passed away on November 5, 2017 in Madison County where she lived all her life. She was married to William See for 64 years. Together they owned a century farm near East Peru, Iowa. Doris enjoyed arts, crafts and gardening. She taught china painting classes and helped paint a tea set for Terrace Hill and won many ribbons at the Iowa State Fair.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, and is survived by daughters, Joanne Howell, Sharon Young, son, Jim See and 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She will be honored with a private family celebration of life.
