Robert Clinton, son of Elizabeth Taylor and John Lorenzen, was born in Madison County, Iowa on August 9, 1899, and departed this life December 18, 1976 at Americana Health Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

He attended rural school in Madison County and spent most of his life as a general laborer, farmer and carpenter in Madison and Dallas counties.

Preceding him in death were his parents and four brothers Fred L., Jack, Frank H. and Gus T. Surviving are two nephews, Bill Lorenzen, of Truro, Iowa, and Freddie Lorenzen, of Manning, Alberta, Canada, three great nieces, three great nephews and three sisters-in-law, Phyllis Lorenzen, Truro, Iowa, Bette Lorenzen, Manning, Alberta, Canada, and Opal Lorenzen, Dexter, Iowa and many friends.

Rev. Robert Farr officiated at the funeral service on Tuesday, December 21, 1976 at the Link Funeral Home in Stuart, Iowa. Mrs. Paul Wilson provided the organ music and Mrs. Paul Lenocker assisted with the flowers. Serving as casket bearers were Garold Bochart, Mervin Wells, Paul Lenocker, Dean Schirm, Russell Horn and John Hadley. Interment was in Dexter Cemetery.
