Ensign, November 6, --Caleb W. Sutton, 86, who moved the first house into the town and established a confectionary store when the town started, was buried here Sunday. He had been a resident of Gray county for 43 years. He was survived by his wife and five children.
________________________Transcriber's note: The deceased can be found in Madison County censuses from 1856 through 1880. His middle name was provided by a family member.
