Oscar Frank Allen, 81, of 1038 Rosewood, died in a local nursing home Monday after an extended illness.
Mr. Allen was born June 25, 1880, at Patterson, Iowa. He spent his early life in the Middle West and married Nora E. McDowell in 1902 at Winterset, Iowa. In 1903 they moved to Craigmont, Idaho, where Mr. Allen worked in the mercantile business. He came to Wenatchee in 1950. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Frances Campbell, Wenatchee, and Mrs. Eleanor Mangold, Pasadena Calif.; two sons, Donald M. Allen, Portland, Ore., and James K. Allen, Dorchester, Mass.; one sister, Mrs. Roy Arnold, Valentine, Neb; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister and three sons.
Betts Funeral Home of Wenatchee is in charge of arrangements.

9th & ChelanALLEN—Oscar Frank, age 81, of 1038 Rosewood, Services Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock, with the Rev. Chester Finkbeiner officiating at BETTS CHAPEL. Interment in Wenatchee Cemetery. Those who desire may make memorial to the heart fund.
