LAST RITES HERE FOR FORMER RESIDENT

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 9 o’clock in Sacred Heart church, for Henry M. Imboden, 79, of Sioux City, Iowa.

Mr. Imboden was a long time resident of this community, until eight years ago when he moved to Sioux City to make his home.

He had been in failing health for the past 3 years, and suffered a storke Tuesday afternoon from which he did not rally. He died Wednesday evening, May 17th at the home of his daughter Miss Cecilia Imboden in Sioux City.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. James Slowey, and interment was in Calvary cemetery.

Harry Martin Imboden was born to parents, John and Margaret Imboden, at Madison County, Iowa, April 2, 1871. He was united in marriage to Anna Huibsch, Oct. 1901 at Duncombe, Iowa. She precededed him in death in 1947. Also preceding him in death were a daughter Margaret and a son, Mathieu. He is survived by a daughter Cecilia of Sioux City, four sons, James of Colorado Springs, Colo., David Imboden of Unionville, Mo., Donald and Paul Imboden of Sioux City, also two sisters, Mrs. Nora Laurent of Ashland, Ore., Mrs. Mabel Wood of Englevale, N. D., and one brother, Charles Imboden of this city; also 8 grandchildren.

Those attending the funeral from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. James Imboden of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mr. and Mrs. David Imboden and family of Unionville, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Paul Imboden and family, Donald Imboden, Miss Cecilia Imboden, all of Sioux City; Orange Ringgenberg of Lehigh; Mrs. Alfred Jones, Clifford Welch, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Schalk and son, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Nasor, Mr. and Mrs. Don Jordt, Mr. and Mrs. Lafe Huibsch, Ronald Huibsch, Mrs. Margaret Suer, all of Fort Dodge; Billy Huibsch, Humboldt; Joe Huibsch, Iowa Falls; Mrs. May Wilcox, Livermore; Miss Lois Collins, Mrs. Mary Ames, Mrs. Norman Hodkenson, Miss Jimmie Davidscheck, Sioux City; Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Kelly and Mrs. Lizzie Laurent, Vincent.
