Mrs. Mary Hickman, wife of Hiram Hickman, died at the Cottage hospital in Creston Saturday morning, November 30, following a serious operation for the removal of gall stones.
Deceased was born in Ohio, June 5, 1845, and was 64 years of age at the time of her death. Her husband and seven children survive her.
Her remains were accompanied to Murray Saturday on No. 4, by her husband and son, Ed Hickman. The funeral and interment took place in the Murray cemetery Monday.
________________________Coordinator's note: The Hickmans lived in Madison County in the 1890s per census records. Her maiden name is taken from her Madison County Marriage Record.
