James Ackelson of Mitchellville died on Thursday morning and the funeral was held here Saturday conducted by the Rev. E. H. Sands.

Rev. Sands conducted funeral services Saturday afternoon for James Ackelson who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rankin of Mitchellville. Mr. Ackelson was a farmer in this community for many years. His sons Emery, Harold and Ilot live here.
