Farlin

The sad news went over the telephone Tuesday morning that Mrs. O. G. Brooker had passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Davy Tomlinson’s in Highland township. Mrs. Brooker had a stroke Monday morning and every thing loving hands and medical skill could do was done but to no avail, so she passed away at 12 o’clock.

Mr. and Mrs. Brooker have been residents of Bristol for three or four years having come from Madison county. They were the parents of twelve children two have preceded their mother in death. She was a good woman and made many friends here and will be greatly missed in this community, being a great church worker. The family have our deepest sympathy and may God sustain them in their sad hours of grief.
