Thursday, September 8, 1966Dorice Marie Harrison was born at Winterset, Iowa, April 9, 1903, the daughter of John Bryant and Mary Kathryn Ward. In her early life she moved with her family to Dexter where she attended grade school. Later they moved to Redfield where she graduated from High School in 1921. She taught school for two years.
She was married to Kenneth Harrison on September 5, 1924 at Oskaloosa, Iowa. Mrs. Harrison spent her entire married life with the exception of one year in Arkansas, in Redfield.
She is survived by three children, Robert Harrison of Perry, Iowa; Beverly Frazer, Webster City, Iowa; and Shirlie Jones, Leon, Iowa; 10 grandchildren, Craig, Kusia and Mark Harrison; Gary, Connie, Michele and Melody Frazer; and Kenneth, Paula and Kimberley Jones; also surviving are two brothers and one sister, Karl Ward, Des Moines, Iowa; Johnnie Ward, Des Moines, Iowa; and Verdye Lonnecker, Albequerque, N. Mexico.
She has been very active in Et-a-virp Club and in W.S.C.S.
