OBITUARY

Arthur Orval Burnham, son of Charles and Martha McGuire Burnham, was born in Dallas County, August 27, 1883, and died Tuesday, July 25, 1967, at Winterset Hospital, Winterset, Iowa.

He was married April 5, 1905 to Edna Holloway. To this union four children were born: Claude, Dorothy, Lucille, and Norma Ruth.

He lived most of his life in the Redfield and Linden neighborhoods. He farmed until 1945, when he moved to Linden. He was a member from early youth of the Union Chapel Christian Church.

Those who survive his passing are his wife, Edna, his four children: Claude, of Linden; Mrs. Dorothy Ohm, of Redfield; Lucille Burnham, and Mrs. Norma Ruth Bobenhouse of Des Moines, Iowa; one brother, Pearl Burnham of Redfield; nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.

One brother, Frank, and two sisters, Etta Tate and Susie Dickey, preceded him in death.

He was a good man, and loved his family and his neighbors.
