Services were held on Sunday, January 8 for Myrtle Linn at the DeFord Fisher Funeral Home with Duane Davis in charge of rites.
Vocalists were Mrs. H. L. Huggins and Mrs. Frank Coleman with Mrs. Vyrlee Godwin, organist. Casket bearers were Dean Jordan, Larry Jordan, Dwayne Linn, Russell Parker, Norman Parker and Marion Parker.
Place of interment was Scranton.
OBITUARY
Myrtle M. Linn, daughter of William and Susan Libby, was born March 30, 1883 in Greene County, Iowa. She departed this life on January 4, 1967 at Earlham, Iowa. She was 83 years, 9 months and 4 days of age.
On February 11, 1901, she was united in marriage to Clarence R. Linn in Greene County. To this union 7 children were born.
The majority of her life was spent in Greene and Dallas Counties.
She is survived by two daughters and four sons—Mable Jordan of Ogden, Iowa; Florence Parker of Dexter, Iowa; Earl of Ralston, Iowa; Virgil of Warba, Minnesota; Darrell of Warba, Minnesota; and Lloyd of Des Moines. There are 16 grandchildren and one brother Elmer Libby of Winterset also to survive her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, five brothers and 3 sisters.
