Paul Duane Silliman passed away March 2, 2017. He was born Aug. 3, 1938, on a farm in rural Winterset. He graduated high school in 1956. He went to Chicago to further his education, and that led him to California where he managed a theater.
Duane was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Neola (Felton) Silliman; sisters, Darlene (Mahan) and Deanne (Howell); brothers Don, Doyle and Dick; and his wife, Dolly.
Survivors include Delores Addy (who passed away two days afer Duane on March 4, 2017) and Dwite Silliman from Ankeny, Iowa. Also, many nieces and nephews. A memorial is being planned to celebrate Duane's life in August.
