Services for Mrs. Della J. Huston, 73 of 206 E. Sixteenth St. will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Visitation Catholic Church, with burial in Glendale Cemetery.
Mrs. Huston died of emphysema Tuesday at Medicenter of America, 233 University Ave., after a lengthy illness.
A native of Peru and St. Charles area before moving to Des Moines about 45 years ago. She was a retired meat plant worker and a member of the Visitation Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Darlene Porterfield of Grafton, Wis., Mrs. Honey Lou Alexander of Des Moines; three stepsons, Gerald Huston of Des Moines, Stanley Huston of Fort Madison and Dean Huston of West Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Myers of Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Reva Smith of Moline, Ill.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight at Hamilton's Funeral Home.
