Lloyd S. James Rites Saturday

Services for Lloyd S. James, 55 of 910 Fifth ave., who died of a cerebral hemorrhage Wednesday, at Mercy hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Methodist church at St. Charles. Burial will be at Peru. The Hamilton funeral home will be in charge.

Mr. James had lived in Des Moines 30 years and was employed by the Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. the last eight years. A World War I Veteran, Mr. James was a member of the Rainbow division.

Surviving are his widow, Violet; two sons, Donald L. and Charles J., both of Des Moines; a stepson Kenneth C. Wilson of Polk City; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Arlene Thompson of Des Moines, and Dorothy Wilson of Polk City; three sisters, Mrs. Susie Myers of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Reva Smith of Moline., IL., and Mrs. Della Huston of Des Moines; two grand children; and three step grandchildren.
