Among those from Winterset and the Ord neighborhood who attended the funeral of J. W. Hartsook at Greenfield Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Hartsook and Miss Helen Hartsook, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hartsook, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Schoenenberger and daughter, Katherine and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bell.

Mr. Hartsook was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hartsook and was born and raised near Ord. He died Saturday at his home west of Orient.

J. W. HARTSOOK DIES IN GREENFIELD

J. W. Hartsook, living none miles southwest of Greenfield, died Thursday, march 15. He was a former Madison county resident, living twenty-four years in the Hartsook neighborhood before moving to Adair county.

Mr. Hartsook was sixty years old and a brother of F. P. Hartsook, of Winterset. Other relatives in the county are Mrs. Ralph Schoenenberger, Ben Hartsook, Mrs. Frank Bell; Mrs. Newton Newell, of Howard, Kansas is a sister.

Funeral services were held Saturday in Greenfield and burial was there.
