From the Des Moines papers we learn that J. F. Gump died at Pocatello, Idaho on last Thursday. The remains were brought back to Des Moines, his former home, for interment.
Mr. Gump will be remembered by many here and in Jackson township, where he resided before moving to Winterset. He resided at Pocatello, Idaho, for the past twelve years and was 81 years of age at the time of his death.
