Page 8FORMER MABEL BELL DIES IN MONTANA
Mabel Bell Huston, a former resident of Patterson and a former school teacher in Madison county, died at her home in Paulson, Montana, on October 20, according to information received here by her nephew, Carl Brown of Winterset.
Mrs. Huston had suffered a fractured leg in a fall at her home October 8, and died 12 days later from a heart attack.
She was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abner Bell, who were pioneer settlers in Madison county. She was the last surviving member of that family.

Polson, Oct. 21. — Funeral services for Mrs. R. P. Huston, 68, of Polson, who died early Monday at a Polson hospital after a two-week illness, will be conducted at the Retz chapel Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. Charles Durston will officiate and burial will be in the Polson cemetery.
Mrs. Huston was born December 13, 1878, in Madison county, Iowa, and moved to Polson 14 years ago. Survivors, besides her widower, are two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Kerschner of Polson and Mrs. Helen Coverdell of Essex, and a son, Lisle A. of Polson.
