SETH REIGLE DIED LAST WEDNESDAY

Well-Known Jefferson Man Succumbs at Age of 76 Years

Seth Reigle, a long-time resident of Jefferson township, died at the Mercy hospital in Des Moines, Wednesday, July 30. He was 76 years of age.

Mr. Reigle was born in Madison county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Reigle. As a young man he spent some years in Kansas, and was married there, 51 years ago to Julia Tuttle.

Surviving are his wife; and two sons, Floyd Reigle of DeSoto and Leonard Reigle of Dysart. He also leaves a brother, Dan Reigle of Granger; and three sisters, Mrs. Emma White and Mrs. Nellie Farmer of Des Moines and Mrs. Stephen Parkins of Winterset.

Funeral services were held last Saturday from the Jefferson United Brethren church, in charge of the Rev. Mr. McGreger, a nephew of Mrs. Reigle. Burial was made in the United Brethren cemetery.
