FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN MONTANA

Chester Mott Succumbs at Malta, Mont., at Age of 71 Years

Chester Mott, whose early life was spent in Winterset, died July 10 at a hospital in Malta, Mont., according to word received here this week. He was 71 years of age.

Mr. Mott was the son of Judge and Mrs. Frederick Mott. He was born in Winterset, Oct. 13, 1875. He attended the local schools and was married January 22, 1907, to Zetta Garrison.

Soon after his marriage he moved to Dodson, Montana, where he had since lived. He engaged in farming until failing health forced his retirement several years ago.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Earl Holzheimer of Great Falls, Montana, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Dodson July 13 and burial was made at Great Falls.
