Funeral Services Held on Wednesday; Burial at Union Chapel
Ona Pearl Graspy, formerly of Winterset, died Monday at Glenwood at the age of 46 years.
Miss Graspy was the daughter of William and Judy Graspy and was born at Winterset, Oct. 2, 1900.
Surviving are her father, a sister, Mrs. Vira Waltz of Winterset, and five brothers, Forrest and Everett Graspy of Des Moines, Wallace Graspy of Patterson, Amos Graspy of Winterset and Ivan Graspy of Stockton, Calif.
Funeral services were held here Wednesday from the Anderson home for funerals, in charge of the Rev. L. F. Davis of Winterset. Burial was made in the Union Chapel cemetery.
________________________Transcriber’s note: Typed as printed in the Madisonian. Her year of birth herein is 1900 and on her gravestone it is 1898. In the 1900 census, she was noted as born in October and was 7 months old so 1899 is the correct year.
