ANNE McMICHAEL BURIED SATURDAY

Formerly Was Resident of Crawford Township and Winterset

Nancy Anne McMichael, former resident of Crawford township and Winterset, died Wednesday, July 23, at Clarinda, at the age of 82 years.

Miss McMichael was born near Beaver Falls, Pa., on March 23, 1865, the daughter of James and Nancy McMichael. Her mother died when she was a child, and she came with her father and sister to a farm north of Bevington.

Later she made her home with an uncle, John McMichael, on his farm near Winterset. They later moved into Winterset, where she lived for many years.

When her health failed, she was taken to the state hospital at Clarinda where her death occurred.

Nearest surviving relatives are a sister, Mrs. Mary J. Hartfield of near Bevington; a brother, Thomas McMichael of Des Moines; and two half sisters, Mrs. Harley Beerbower of Winterset and Mrs. R. E. Allen of Norwalk.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Patterson Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. Oren Hall. Burial was made in Mt. Pelier cemetery.
