Funeral Rites Held For Coon Rapids Woman

Mrs. John Rippey Had Been Resident There for Half Century

Coon Rapids (Special) - Funeral services for Mrs. John Rippey, 79, resident of this community for 50 years, who passed away Sunday, were held yesterday afternoon.

Mrs. Rippey had been in failing health for several months.

The Rippeys had lived on a farm near Coon Rapids for 50 years and a few years ago purchased a home in town, Mrs. Rippey was born in Ontario, Canada.

She is survived by her widower, two sons, Glen and Charles and two granddaughters, Betty and Eleanor.

Former Resident Dies

Mrs. John Rippey, 79, former resident of Madison county, died Sunday at Coon Rapids. Services were held there Tuesday.

Mrs. Rippey is a sister of W. W. Greer and James Greer and was reared in the county, the family living in the Ord neighborhood.

On account of blocked roads, none of the relatives here were able to attend the services.
