MYRA J. ATHY, St Charles, Ia

Myra J. Athy, 77, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 at Manor Care Health Services in West Des Moines. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Monday, February 29, 2016 at McLaren's Chapel with a memorial service at 1 p.m. 

Myra is survived by her brothers, Edward (Cindy) Hampton of DeSoto, Thompson Hampton and Matthew Hampton of Bevington; sons, Brad (Deb) Athy of St. Charles and Barry (Becky) Athy of Omaha, NE; daughters, Mandy Athy (Patrick Kearns) of Iowa City and Sharon Elmore of Indianola; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Sr. and Mable (Miller) Hampton; husband, Charles; and son, Brian Athy. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Croix Hospice, or Kiya Koda Humane Society in Indianola, Iowa.
