Obituary: Mildred Crawley

Mildred Crawley, 89, of Lincoln, Neb., died Saturday, March 6, 1999, in Lincoln.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at First Christian Church with the Rev. John Yonkers officiating. A reception will follow services at the church.

Mrs. Crawley was born July 6, 1909, in Madison County, Iowa, to Charles and Dora Beeler.

She married Kermit Crawley in 1937, and he preceded her in death.

She graduated from Iowa State University, where she had been employed in the extension office. She was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), League of Women Voters and Stephens College Faculty Wives and was a volunteer at Boone Hospital Center, Meals on Wheels and the Red Cross Blood Bank.

Survivors include three children, Kim Andrews of North Platte, Neb., Tom Crawley of Seattle and Don Crawley of Kansas City; a brother, Gene Beeler of Weirsdale, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church.
